Equiplite worked close together with Rogers Yacht designer James Day to customize deck set up for the new Rogers 82’. We came up with innovative solutions to solve major problems that arose while building the Rogers. The Rogers 82 is a new generation of Cruiser Racer combining comfort, style and high performance - a balance often proving hard to achieve in a yacht of this size. Her elegant lines, Med-style cockpit and contemporary interior makes her the perfect fast cruising yacht and is guaranteed to turn heads wherever she goes.
The Rogers 82 is constructed entirely from pre-preg carbon utilising the latest aerospace technologies. She is currently in build at Goetz Custom Boats, USA – the builder of choice for 6 America’s Cup syndicates and 9 America’s Cup boats. She will be launched in Spring 2010.

Externally the Rogers 82 has several distinctive features, the most significant her deck layout is clean and simple and at a glance, her racing pedigree is clear; Equiplite worked close together with Rogers Yacht designer James Day to customize deck set up for the new Rogers 82’. We came up with innovative solutions to solve major problems that arose while building the Rogers.
The Rogers will be supplied with following Equiplite hardware:

- Code 0 Furling systems. (With build in locks system -from Hall Spars- in top swivel.)
- Spinnaker staysail system
- Structural Stay sail Furling system
